Every Object Tells a Story Everyone has a particular object which means something special to them. Every Object Tells A Story allows people to share their stories and to explore the stories of others on an easy-to-use website. Led by the Victoria and Albert Museum in partnership with Channel 4, Ultralab and three regional museums, the project focuses on the art of storytelling. The site uses the personal meanings and histories behind objects to get people to look at them in new ways, inspiring them to create their own stories and share their interpretations and objects of personal significance with a growing online community. Created by the Great Britain Historical GIS Project, this site is a unique digital collection of information about Britain's localities as they have changed over time.
